Welcome to the Yew Tree House - A No Smoking House!!

Jane and Christopher Stirling have been providing comfortable
"Bed & Breakfast Guest Accommodation" in Steeple Bumpstead since 1972.

"As this is our home, we like our guests to feel that they've come away to stay with friends in Steeple Bumpstead."

Yew Tree House is a comfortable red-bricked Victorian family home built about 120 years ago.
The house still has many period features, including the original floor tiles in the hall, and stripped pine doors, together with the benefits of modern facilities such as central heating and en-suites.

The village of Steeple Bumpstead nestles in a valley in the upper part of a tributary of the river Stour, and is one of the "hidden treasures of Essex." The village has some interesting architecture, for example: The Moot Hall and the village Lock-up.

Steeple Bumpstead is within an area renowned for its picturesque East Anglian rural scenes.
Come, stay awhile and discover more of the hidden treasures of Essex and surrounding counties!
